This fox needs coffee
This game was made in around 2 days, as a birthday present for TanukiWish (September 22nd). Hope you have fun!
It is based on the ROOT (a game of woodland might and right) franchise.
There are 4 items to collect, and cool woodland creatures to meet.
Controls:
- WASD/Arrow keys: move
- X: sword (once you've found it)
- C: crossbow (once you've found it)
Characters:

The Marquise de Cat. Recent conqueror of the woodlands. Needs sawmills. 
The charismatic Eyrie leader. Very strong. Will test you.
The voice of the Woodland Alliance. Eats the rich. Has many simps.
La Zorra. The wandering vagabond you play as. This fox needs coffee.

the gameplay cutscene dissonance is pretty damn strong here. (la zorra goes from looking like a final fantasy black mage in gameplay to well...)

i firstly went south, solved quest there, got bow and pressed c to check it and accidentally hit green toast thing or how they called XD
they're woodland alliance warriors, but you are right to call them green toast X)
is this just... Root but not a tabletop?
