Conga con mate
Made for my partner Nuki, who wanted to play the addictive game of Conga:
- One card is taken from the top of either the stock (face down) pile or the discard (face up) pile, and added to the player's hand.
- The player can then try to make combinations from the hand with the new card. Each combination in the hand must have at least 3 cards, and may be a set (cards of the same rank) or a run, that is, sequential cards of the same suit.
- After that, one card must be discarded from the player's hand and placed on top of the discard pile face up, so that the player always has seven cards in hand.
Contains 2 game modes:
- Cero: you win by having 0 uncombined cards in your hand
- Menos Nueve: you win if the total value of your uncombined cards is 9 or less)

How do you discard a set or run? All I can do is discard.
You keep it in hand and it doesn’t count towards your hand value! Ideally you get two sets/runs but any number of them which results in your hand total being 0 (or in menos nueve mode: less or equal to 9) makes you win!
took me a second to parse the instructions but once i got the hang of it it was very fun :D
you can try it with friends with real cards :) (and a real bombicha full of mate 🧉 )
