The fifth episode in the wizard's adventures! A week late because of the holiday. This one was made for the  "Broke for Xmas" game jam. In this chapter, the wizard is broke and must make a lot of money by selling eggs. Also, you can burn the trees.

Controls:

  • WASD/Arrow keys: move

It's a nice maze game. I skipped what the npc said and wasn't able to read all the information. It was not clear that selling the eggs at different areas makes them sell for less or more so I wasn't able to get enough currency to buy anything. I couldn't get passed the starting area in the playthrough.

what do i do with the rockets? (trying to avoid spoilers because i don't know how to do the box thing) during the part at the end after you take down the red thing, where do you put them?

just figure out where the rockets come from and shoot there.

i did, but it just shows sharps body on the tower and doesnt give an ending screen

u also have to run away after the fight (because the wizard ran)

I noticed the towers make a pentagon (or a pentagram), and can be highlighted with the airship... but nothing seems to happen? I'm pretty sure that's the last ending, and will be revealed in the next game, but just wanted to share if anyone wants to figure it out

And here we are, doing the same thing that Castleton banned us for :D

So ending 1 is obviously, running away, 2nd is again, defeating shades and sharp, 3rd is burning down stuff, and 4th must be becoming a magret farmer, but here's my question: Is it possible to get that one?

I have found that, eggs can sometimes randomly hatch into magrets, and magrets give eggs periodically. But magrets hatching is very rare, and unreliable. The main method is to buy them, which is also unfeasible (the cost goes 1k, 2k, 4k, 8k, 16k, 32k... and even 32k is too high, so practically only 5 can be bought without just idling around and selling eggs repeatedly, at which point it becomes a clicker game). I bought 5 and had 11 total, and waited a lot, and new ones were not showing up. There is nothing to feed them.

So, is there something which affects the rate of hatching? (like how many magrets you already have, or fire level, or anything?)

I love the different styles and mechanics of the installments in this series. Can't wait for part six!
